OpenType minimum requirements

— Macintosh with PowerPC processor
— Mac OS 8.6 through Mac OS 9.2, or Mac OS X
— ATM® Light 4.6 (4.6.2 for Mac OS X Classic)
— ATM updater to 4.6.1a/4.6.2a, if using AdobePS 8.8 or later
— If using a PostScript printer, the latest AdobePS printer driver is recommended 16 MB of RAM (32 MB recommended)


Mac OS X provides native support for OpenType CFF fonts, and does not require ATM Light for use with native and carbon applications. Applications running in Classic mode in Mac OS X still require ATM Light.

Windows 2000, Windows XP, and Windows Vista provide native support for OpenType CFF fonts and do not require ATM Light or the Adobe PS printer driver.

PostScript Mac minimum requirements
— Macintosh computer with at least 2 MB of RAM
— System OS X or later (including any version of System 7
and Mac OS 8 or MAC OS 9)
— PostScript-compatible printer


PostScript, True Type PC minimum requirements
— PC running Windows 2000 (or later)
— Adobe Type Manager software for Postscript fonts in Windows 95, 98 and NT.
— At least 2 MB of RAM.
— PostScript-compatible printer or other Windows-supported printer.


PostScript font support is built directly into Windows 2000, and ATM Light is not required for basic font installation and rendering on this platform.


Webfont licenses on Emtype Foundry are perpetual and without subscriptions (One time fee / No monthly fee to use your fonts). The webfonts are self-hosted, that means that you host the fonts in your own server.

The webfonts are provided in following formats:
— Woff, Woff2, EOT, SVG and TTF
— An example of use in HTML and CSS is provided with each font style.
