Castelldefels

Custom version of Steradian for Castelldefels city commissioned by Mario Eskenazi’s studio in 2020. Castelldefels is a suburban coastal city of Barcelona, popular for its beach and its XVI century castle. Compared with the original Steradian, the new font is slightly condensed in order to save space. In addition, Eskenazi asked us for specific modifications to evoke the castle silhouette. All the curve endings (like f,t,j,r, etc) become angular so the rhythm of the text connects with the city symbol. View Steradian
