Colnago is an icon of cycling history and one of the most successful bikes in the world. In 2020, the Mucho partner Tilman Solé, commissioned us to design the corporate typefaces for their rebranding project. The assignment consisted in designing two original font families that express the two sides of the brand: the sans serif conveys cycling, sport and victory, while the serif version is for exclusivity, tradition and heritage. The Bold version was used for the new logotype. And it was the starting point for the down tube logo too (that has an extreme 30 degrees inclination). Colnago bicycles have been used by champions through time, from the legend Eddy Merckx to Tadej Pogačar, the youngest cyclist to win two consecutive Tours.
